Le Vernet-Chaméane (French pronunciation:[ləvɛʁnɛʃamean];Auvergnat:Le Vernet e Chameana) is acommune in thePuy-de-Dômedepartment inAuvergne in centralFrance.[3] It was established on 1 January 2019 by merger of the former communes ofVernet-la-Varenne (the seat) andChaméane.[4]
