Le Granit (French pronunciation:[ləɡʁanit],lit. 'The Granite') is aregional county municipality in theEstrie region of easternQuebec, Canada. Located directly south ofQuebec City, it borders the region ofChaudière-Appalaches, as well as the US states ofNew Hampshire andMaine. It is named for its abundance ofgranite. Created in 1982, Le Granit's seat isLac-Mégantic.
