TheLaurel Valley Golf Club is an Americangolf club that is located just south of thePittsburgh suburb ofLigonier, Pennsylvania.
Designed byDick Wilson and renovated byArnold Palmer, the Laurel Valley golf course opened in 1959. Since that time, the club has hosted two notable tournaments: the1965 PGA Championship and the1975 Ryder Cup.
Other tournaments played here include the1989U.S. Senior Open, the2001Marconi Pennsylvania Classic and the2005Senior PGA Championship. The 2023 Arnold Palmer Cup was also held at Laurel Valley.[1]
Laurel Valley was ranked the 4th best golf course in Pennsylvania byGolf Digest.[2]
