Laura Post is an American voice actress and voice director who provides voices for English versions of Japaneseanime series and video games. She is best known for her roles as Aria Lieze inMagical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's, Ragyo Kiryuin inKill la Kill, Rosalia inSword Art Online,[1][2][3] Eri Watabe inLagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne, Blizzard inOne Punch Man,[4] Bosbos inRedline, and Witch Regret inEdens Zero. She also has portrayed characters in video games like Ahri inLeague of Legends,[5] Queen Azshara inWorld of Warcraft: Cataclysm, Haruka Sakaki inGodzilla: The Planet Eater, Yelan inGenshin Impact, Valentine inSkullgirls,Harley Quinn inBatman: The Enemy Within,Sumire Yoshizawa inPersona 5 Royal, andArfoire inHyperdimension Neptunia.[6] She often serves as a voice double forTina Fey.
Post said she was interested in voice acting when she was a kid.[7] Post said she "didn’t pursue voice overs" until she went to her first anime convention and was inspired by "a bunch of panels on voice overs", saying: “That’s what I wanted to do when I was a little kid! I’m gonna go to all the panels, I’m gonna take notes, and I’m gonna try this out!”.[7]
Post graduated fromColumbia College Chicago in 2007.[8] She was also taught by various voice actors likeSteve Staley,Tony Oliver, Huck Ligget,Bob Bergen, Bill Holmes, andRichard Steven Horvitz.[9][10] Post started out by providing voices in audio dramas, as well as for commercials, documentaries, and industrial work.[9]

With Nozomi, we come to my first bit of criticism. It's not that Laura Post's performance is poor (and she was delightfully domineering as Ragyo Kiryuin in Kill la Kill), but that her line reads felt a bit flat at times.
