Laskeek Bay is abay inHaida Gwaii,British Columbia,Canada.[1] It is located on the east side ofMoresby Island, north ofLyell Island, south ofLouise Island, and east ofTalunkwan Island.[2][3][4]
Some of Laskeek Bay's shores are within Ḵ'uuna Gwaay Conservancy[5] andGwaii Haanas. Part of Laskeek Bay is within theGwaii Haanas National Marine Conservation Area.[6]
Laskeek Bay's name is said to be an adaptation of aTsimshian word meaning "on the eagle", which was the Tsimshian name for the historicHaida villageTanu.[7]
