Lasith Croospulle (born 10 October 1998) is a Sri Lankancricketer, who is a right-handedopening batsman. He made his international debut forSri Lanka cricket team.[1]
He made hisTwenty20 debut forNegombo Cricket Club in the2017–18 SLC Twenty20 Tournament on 24 February 2018.[2] He made hisList A debut for Negombo Cricket Club in the2017–18 Premier Limited Overs Tournament on 10 March 2018.[3] In August 2021, he was named in the SLC Greys team for the2021 SLC Invitational T20 League tournament.[4]
In July 2022, he was signed by theDambulla Giants for thethird edition of theLanka Premier League.[5] In January 2024, he was signed byDurdanto Dhaka to play for them in the2024 Bangladesh Premier League.[6]
In April 2022,Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) named him in the Sri Lanka Emerging Team's squad for their tour to England.[7] In June 2022, he was named in theSri Lanka A squad for their matches againstAustralia A during Australia'stour of Sri Lanka.[8]
In March 2023, he was named in Sri Lanka'sOne Day International andTwenty20 International squad for the seriesagainst New Zealand.[9] In October 2023, he was selected to play for Sri Lanka in the2023 Asian Games.[10] He made his T20I debut for Sri Lanka on 4 October 2023, againstAfghanistan.[11]
