Larry Bishop (born November 30, 1948) is an American actor, screenwriter and film director. He is the son of Sylvia Ruzga and comedianJoey Bishop. He has been featured in many Hollywood movies includingHell Ride.[1]

Early life

Bishop attendedBeverly Hills High School. His fellow alumniRob Reiner andRichard Dreyfuss appear with him inMad Dog Time, as does Joey Bishop.[2]

Career

His television credits include writing for (and appearances on)The Hollywood Palace (with then-partnerRob Reiner), and appearances onI Dream of Jeannie,Love, American Style,Barney Miller,Laverne & Shirley andKung Fu.

His movie credits include roles inKill Bill: Volume 2,The Big Fix,The Savage Seven, and as the hook-handed musician Abraham "The Hook" Salteen inWild in the Streets. He wrote, directed and appeared inMad Dog Time in 1996, reuniting him withStreets costarChristopher Jones in Jones' final film appearance.[3] His most recent movies are 2008'sHell Ride, in collaboration withQuentin Tarantino, and 2010'sForgotten Pills.
