Larat is a border island ofIndonesia located in theMaluku province, northeast ofYamdena Island. Together with Yamdena andSelaru and a number of other smaller islands, it is part of theTanimbar Islands archipelago.[1][2] It is located in the Aru Sea and is part of the government of West Southeast Maluku regency, Maluku province.[3] The main town on the island is also called Larat.[4]
