Lanxi, alternately known asLanchi andLanki, is acounty-level city under the administration of theprefecture-level city ofJinhua in west-centralZhejiang Province, east-central China.
The city executive, legislature andjudiciary are at Lanjiang Subdistrict (兰江街道), together with theCPC andPSB branches. The town lies on theLan River (Lanjiang), a tributary of theFuchun River, both north-flowing; the Fuchun River empties intoHangzhou Bay.
