Langanesbyggð (Icelandic pronunciation:[ˈlauŋkaˌnɛsˌpɪɣθ]ⓘ) is amunicipality in northeasternIceland, just north ofEastern Region.[1] The main village isÞórshöfn, in the north there is theLanganes peninsula.[2][3]
