Lalakai Louis Arapeta Foketi (born 22 December 1994) is a professionalrugby union player who plays as acentre forSuper Rugby team theWaratahs. Born in New Zealand, he representsAustralia at international level.[1]

Professional career

Foketi was named in the Melbourne Rebels extended playing squad for the2014 Super Rugby season.[2]

He was not expected to feature much during his debut season, however a spate of injuries to Rebels backline players saw him earn a first Super Rugby cap against theWaratahs on 23 May 2014.[3]

Foketi was anAustralia Schoolboys representative in 2012,[4] and played four matches for theAustralia Under 20 side at the2013 IRB Junior World Championship inFrance.[5] He also played four matches in the2014 tournament in New Zealand.[6][7]
