Laize-Clinchamps (French pronunciation:[lɛzklɛ̃ʃɑ̃]) is acommune in thedepartment ofCalvados, northwesternFrance. The municipality was established on 1 January 2017 by merger of the former communes ofLaize-la-Ville (the seat) andClinchamps-sur-Orne.[3]
The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets,Percouville,Laize-la-Ville,Clinchamps-sur-Orne andLes Jardins.[4]
Two rivers theOrne and one of its tributaries theLaize a flow through the commune.[5][6] in addition a stream, the Ruisseau du Val Distrait flows through the commune.[7]
