LY-334370 is aselectiveserotonin5-HT1F receptoragonist[1] of thetriptan andpiperidinylindole families which was under development byEli Lilly and Company for the treatment ofmigraine headaches.[2] The drug showed efficacy in a phase II clinical trial[3] but further development was halted due totoxicity detected in animals.[4] It is closely related totryptamines like thepsychedelic drugdimethyltryptamine (DMT), but is not technically a tryptamine itself and is instead apiperidinylindole similarly tonaratriptan.[5]
