L'Armonia

L'Armonia was anItalian language newspaper established inTurin in July 1848.[1][2] It was established by aCatholic priestGiacomo Margotti and other priests.[1][2] Margotti also edited it.[3] It was ultra-conservative andCatholic in orientation. Its mission was to support for theCatholic Church.[2] It was the first Italian publication to publish an account and several sections of theBook of Mormon.[4] This content was published on 1 August 1853 in asupplement.[4]

Among other causes, the paper opposedItalian unification.
