Kyōka Suzuki (Japanese:鈴木 京香,Hepburn:Suzuki Kyōka, born 31 May 1968) is a Japanese actress.

Life and career

Suzuki appeared inShinji Aoyama'sMike Yokohama: A Forest with No Name[1] andYōichi Sai'sBlood and Bones.[2]

She won the Best Actress award at the 1998Yokohama Film Festival for her role inWelcome Back, Mr. McDonald,[3] at the 42ndBlue Ribbon Awards forKeiho[4] and at the 2011 Tokyo Drama Awards forSecond Virgin.[5][6]On 9 June 2023, she was sent for emergency hospitalization for surgery due to physical discomfort.[7]
