Kunwinjku is a dialect ofBininj Kunwok, anAustralian Aboriginal language.[3] TheAboriginal people who speak Kunwinjku are theBininj people, who live primarily in westernArnhem Land. As Kunwinjku is the most widely spoken dialect of Bininj Kunwok, 'Kunwinjku' is sometimes used to refer to Bininj Kunwok as a whole.[4] Kunwinjku is spoken primarily in the west of the Bininj Kunwok speaking areas, including the town ofGunbalanya, as well as outstations such asMamardawerre, Kumarrirnbang, Kudjekbinj and Manmoyi.[3]
