TheKulsum Begum Masjid, also known as theKulsumpura Masjid and as theJama Masjid Karwan, is amosque located in theKarwan locality ofHyderabad, in theHyderabad district of the state ofTelangana, India. It was built in the 17th century by Kulsum Begum, daughter ofSultan Muhammad Qutb Shah.[1][2][3]
The architecture is very similar to otherQutb Shahi mosques in the city. Built on a 0.91-metre-high (3 ft) plinth, thefaçade of the mosque has three arched openings. The twominarets flanking the façade are heavily decorated instucco. In addition, two small arched pavilions punctuate theparapet wall.
