Kristian Fardal Opseth (born 6 January 1990) is a Norwegianfootballer who plays as astriker forStabæk.
Opseth started his career withKaupanger before joiningFørde.[1]
He joinedSogndal in 2014, and made his debut in a 3–0 defeat againstStabæk.[citation needed]
Opseth later joinedBodø/Glimt.[2] In 2017, he became the all-time top scorer of theNorwegian First Division, having scored 28 goals in 30 matches.
Opseth joined Turkish sideErzurumspor on 23 January 2019.[3]
On 31 July 2019, Opseth joined Australian clubAdelaide United.[4] In October 2020, it was announced byBruce Djite that Opseth had left Adelaide United.[5]
On 20 October 2020, Kristian Opseth joinedIndian Super League clubBengaluru FC.
On 3 March 2021, he returned to Norway, signing a two-year contract withSarpsborg 08.[6]
After Sarpsborg 08 chose not to renew Opseth's contract after the 2023 season, Stabæk announced in March 2023 that they had signed Opseth on a two-year contract.[7][8]
