Kottarakara orKottarakkara is alegislative assembly constituency inKollam district ofKerala,India. It is one among the 11 assembly constituencies inKollam district. As of the2016 assembly elections, the current MLA is K N Balagopal of CPI(M).[1]
As per the recent changes on Assembly constituency delimitations, Kottarakara Assembly constituency consists of the municipality ofKottarakkara and seven neighbouring panchayaths includingEzhukone,Kareepra,Kulakkada,Mylom,Neduvathoor,Veliyam andUmmannoor.[2][3]
