Kotsifali (Greek:Κοτσιφάλι) is a redGreek winegrape thatisindigenous to the island ofCrete.[1][2] It is mainly grown in theHeraklion regional unit and sporadically on theCyclades. The grape alone gives moderately red wine with high alcohol content and rich flavor. It is often blended withMandilaria, yielding aruby-colored dry wine with pleasant taste and aroma that requires minimal aging.
