Kosova Press is a news agency headquartered inPristina,Kosovo, established on 4 January 1999.[1] Since that time, it has published information inAlbanian,English,German, andFrench. It currently publishes in Albanian and English.[1]
During the provisional stage under the international protectorate,[clarification needed] and due to the political status ofKosovo,[clarification needed] Kosova Press transformed into an independent news agency in September 2000.[1] It is a member of theSouth East Europe Media Organisation, theAssociation of Balkan News Agencies (ABNA), and theAssociation of Private News Agencies.[citation needed]
