Korenovsky District (Russian:Корено́вский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of thethirty-eight inKrasnodar Krai,Russia.[1] As amunicipal division, it is incorporated asKorenovsky Municipal District.[4] It is located in the center of thekrai. The area of the district is 1,433 square kilometers (553 sq mi).[2] Itsadministrative center is thetown ofKorenovsk.[1] Population:85,264 (2010 census);[3]85,259 (2002 census);[6]77,131 (1989 Soviet census).[7] The population of Korenovsk accounts for 48.3% of the district's total population.[3]
