A memorial to the British soldiers in theKorean War was unveiled inVictoria Embankment Gardens, between theRiver Thames and theMinistry of Defence headquarters in London, England, on 3 December 2014.[1] The memorial, a bronze statue of a British soldier by the sculptorPhilip Jackson, with aPortland stoneobelisk on aWelsh slate base, was a gift from theGovernment of South Korea and was unveiled in a ceremony led byPrince Richard, Duke of Gloucester.[2]
