TheKoepelgevangenis is a former prison inHaarlem,Netherlands. It is one of threePanopticon-style buildings situated in the country. One of three designed byWillem Metzelaar, the building was completed in 1901. ARijksmonument, the prison closed in 2016.[1] After the prison's closure, the building, along withthe one at Arnhem, was used to house asylum seekers to the Netherlands.[2][3]
