Kodasalli Dam is built across theKali River (Kalinadi) inYellapura taluk ofUttara Kannada district ofKarnataka state,India. This dam was built byKarnataka Power Corporation Limited. Thiselectric power generating station is classified ashydroelectric power station. It also is a major source ofirrigation.^{[citation needed]}
