Klay Hall (born September 11, 1958) is an American animator, storyboard artist, television director, and film director.
Klay launched his animation career onAmazing Stories,Cool World, andMighty Mouse: The New Adventures, before working as director onThe Simpsons, andFamily Dog. Klay later became supervising director of 89 episodes ofKing of the Hill atFilm Roman.
Hall's first direction on aCG property was the seriesFather of the Pride, produced byDreamWorks Animation and animated atImagi Studios.[2]
In 2005, Hall was hired byDisneyToon Studios as story editor for their first CGI feature,Tinker Bell (2008), followed by directingTinker Bell and the Lost Treasure (2009), which was executive produced byJohn Lasseter and produced bySean Lurie.[1]
In 2013, Hall directed aCars spin-off film atDisneyToon Studios, titledPlanes.[3]
