Kirby Robert Morrow (August 28, 1973^[1] – November 18, 2020^[2]) was a Canadian actor, comedian and writer. In animation, he was known as the voice ofMiroku fromInuYasha, its four movies, andInuyasha: The Final Act,Van Fanel from the Ocean dub ofEscaflowne,Cyclops fromX-Men: Evolution, Jay fromClass of the Titans,Teru Mikami fromDeath Note,Trowa Barton fromMobile Suit Gundam Wing,Rey Za Burrel fromMobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny,Ryo Takatsuki fromProject ARMS,Goku fromOcean Productions' dub ofDragon Ball Z (from Episode 160 onwards), Hot Shot fromTransformers: Cybertron and his main role as Cole fromLEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu untilSeabound. On camera, he was known for the recurring role of Captain Dave Kleinman fromStargate Atlantis.^[3]

Morrow was born inJasper, Alberta on August 28, 1973 to Dawn and Thomas Morrow,^[4] and graduated with a degree in theatre atMount Royal University inCalgary.^[5] He worked inVancouver, British Columbia, for most of his acting career. Morrow's grandfather, Robert Morrow, was born inPoyntzpass, Ireland in 1902, to Robert Morrow and Susan Davison. He married Alice McTague, fromCounty Antrim.^[6][7][8][9]

Morrow died at the age of 47 on November 18, 2020, just eight days after the death of his father.^[10] His death was announced onFacebook by his brother, Casey Morrow, and linked to a long history of alcohol abuse.^{[3][11][12][13]}

On December 4, 2020, Casey established the Kirby Morrow Memorial Scholarship Fund to help others pursue education in the performing arts.^[14]

Morrow was cremated and his ashes scattered into the ocean nearStanley Park.^[15]
