TheKinneret Subdistrict is one of the subdistricts ofIsrael'sNorthern District. The largest city and the centre of the subdistrict is the city ofTiberias on the western coast of theSea of Galilee.
The subdistrict is mostly composed of what had been, during British-ruledMandatory Palestine, theTiberas Subdistrict.
