TheKing's Artillery Regiment (Danish:Kongens Artilleriregiment, KAR) was anartillery regiment of theRoyal Danish Army.

History

TheKongens Artilleriregiment was formed on 1 August 1982 by merging theCrown's Artillery Regiment (Kronens Artilleriregiment) fromSjælsmark barracks [da] and theZealand Artillery Regiment (Sjællandske Artilleriregiment) fromHolbæk barracks. On 1 November 2005Kongens Artilleriregiment was merged with theQueen's Artillery Regiment (Dronningens Artilleriregiment) to create the new artillery regiment,Danish Artillery Regiment (Danske Artilleriregiment). The regiment was located on Sjælsmark barracks.
