Kinderbeuern (also known locally asKinderbeuern-Hetzhof) is anOrtsgemeinde – amunicipality belonging to aVerbandsgemeinde, a kind of collective municipality – in theBernkastel-Wittlichdistrict inRhineland-Palatinate,Germany.
Kinderbeuern lies in theAlf valley at the foot of theKondelwald, a forested hill region. The outlying centre of Hetzhof lies not far north on the Kammerbach. Kinderbeuern belongs to theVerbandsgemeinde of Traben-Trarbach.
Kinderbeuern's neighbours in the Alf valley areBausendorf,Bengel and Sengwald, likewise in the Alf valley, but an outlying centre of the municipality ofKinheim on theMoselle.
Originally, Kinderbeuern (1296:Kynheymerbüren) was an outlying settlement in the Alf valley of the municipality ofKinheim on theMoselle and until 1740 was united with Kinheim[3] Kinderbeuern had its first documentary mention in 1296. Beginning in 1794, Kinderbeuern lay underFrench rule. In 1814 it was assigned to the Kingdom ofPrussia at theCongress of Vienna. Since 1947, it has been part of the then newly foundedstate ofRhineland-Palatinate.
The council is made up of 16 council members, who were elected byproportional representation at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

In Kinderbeuern there are onekindergarten and oneprimary school. Within the municipality,Bundesstraßen 421 and 49 meet. To the west runs theAutobahnA 1. In each of the neighbouring municipalities ofÜrzig and Bengel is arailway station on the Koblenz-Trierrailway line.
