American songwriter

Kim Edwin Williams (June 28, 1947 – February 11, 2016) was an American songwriter who wrote hits forRandy Travis,Joe Diffie,Reba McEntire,Garth Brooks and many others.[1] Williams was namedASCAP's Country Songwriter of the Year in 1994, won theCountry Music Association's Song of the Year award (for "Three Wooden Crosses") in 2003, and was inducted into theNashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012.[2][3]
