Raquel Lourenço (born 21 March 1992), best known by her ring nameKiller Kelly, is a Portugueseprofessional wrestler signed toTotal Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where she is a former two-timeTNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion (withMasha Slamovich). She is also known for her tenure withWWE where she competed on theNXT UK brand, and for her time in the independent wrestling scene, mostly working inWestside Xtreme Wrestling as well asPro-Wrestling: EVE.

Professional wrestling career

Independent circuit (2016–2022)

Lourenço made her professional wrestling debut in 2016 for Wrestling Portugal asKelly in abattle royal.[4] Throughout the rest of 2016, Kelly continued to pick up victories in Wrestling Portugal. In May 2017, Kelly made her World Stars of Wrestling debut and was defeated byNina Samuels.[5] In August, now asKiller Kelly, she made her debut for Revolution Championship Wrestling, losing to Camille in her debut.[6] The next night she teamed with Camille and Debbie Sharp where they were defeated by Dragonita,Hana Kimura andKagetsu ofOedo Tai.[7] In December 2017, she was defeated byAlpha Female at a Next Step Wrestling show.[8] In March 2018, she made her debut forPro-Wrestling: EVE, losing toCharlie Morgan.[9] On 1 April 2018 she made herRevolution Pro Wrestling debut, losing toBobbi Tyler.[10] In late April she was defeated byViper.[11] On 1 February 2020, Kelly was announced to be competing againstAllysin Kay atJosh Barnett's Bloodsport duringWrestleMania weekend. However, that event was postponed due to the2019-20 coronavirus pandemic.

Westside Xtreme Wrestling (2017–2022)

Killer Kelly made herWestside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) debut at Femmes Fatales 2017, losing toLaura Di Matteo.[12] The same day she was defeated byJinny.[13] At wXw's 17th anniversary show, she became the inauguralwXw Women's Champion after defeating Melanie Gray in the finals of the Women's title tournament after both women scored the most points in the tournament.[14][15] A month later she lost the title toToni Storm.[16] On an episode of Shotgun, she was defeated byVeda Scott.[17] In May 2018, Kelly andMarius Al-Ani defeatedAbsolute Andy and Melanie Gray.[18] On 19 May Kelly andToni Storm defeatedLuFisto and Gray.[19]

WWE (2018–2020)

Lourenço made herWWE debut on the first night of the2018 United Kingdom Championship tournament in a three-way number one contenders match for theNXT Women's Championship.[20][21][22] The following night she was defeated by Charlie Morgan.[23] She competed in the 2018Mae Young Classic, losing toMeiko Satomura in the first round.[24] On the 24 October edition ofNXT UK, she would lose toDakota Kai.[25] In January 2020, Kelly was released by WWE.

Progress Wrestling (2018)

In July 2018, she made herProgress Wrestling debut at Chapter 73, losing toToni Storm.[26]

Impact Wrestling/Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (2020, 2022–present)

On 14 November 2020, atTurning Point,Impact Wrestling confirmed that Kelly would make her debut on Impact by participating at a tournament to crown the newImpact Knockouts Tag Team Champions along with Renee Michelle.[27] Kelly made her official debut on the 24 November episode ofImpact! where she facedKimber Lee in a losing effort.[28] On the 1 December episode ofImpact!, Kelly and Michelle were defeated byJazz andJordynne Grace during the first round of the Knockouts Tag Team Championship Tournament.[29] On the 7 July 2022 episode ofImpact!, avignette of Kelly was aired upon her return.[30] She made her return on the 4 August episode ofImpact!, attacking two local talents after their match and setting her sights onTasha Steelz.[31][32] The following week, Kelly made her in-ring return, defeating Tiffany Nieves in a quick squash.[33] Throughout the summer, Kelly started going after Steelz and Savannah Evans.[34][35][36] On 23 September, at theCountdown to Victory Road pre-show, Kelly lost to Steelz by disqualification after choking the referee and Steelz with a steel chain.[37] AtBound for Glory, she competed in theCall Your Shot Gauntlet, where the winner could choose any championship match of their choice, being eliminated by Steelz.[38] The following night, (which aired ontape delay on 13 October), Kelly defeated Steelz in ano disqualification match.[39][40]

On 13 January 2023, atHard To Kill, Kelly competed in afour-way match to determine the number one contender to theImpact Knockouts World Championship, which was won byMasha Slamovich.[41][42] On the following week's episode ofImpact!, Kelly defeatedTaylor Wilde.[43] In February, Kelly started teaming with Wilde and foughtImpact Knockouts World Tag Team ChampionsThe Death Dollz (Jessicka,Rosemary andTaya Valkyrie) in a non-title bout, but lost when Wilde played with her tarot cards and refused to help Kelly.[44][45] On the 9 March episode ofImpact!, Kelly confronted Wilde over the incident, but was attacked by the debutingKiLynn King.[46] On 16 April, atRebellion, Kelly fought for TeamDreamer and won a10-wrestlerHardcore War against TeamBully.[47] On the 11 May episode ofImpact!, Kelly was pinned by Slamovich in a match while she was trapped in theKiller Clutch submission, though Kelly refused to release the hold afterwards.[48] Some weeks later on 25 May and intoUnder Siege, the two were found to be brawling throughout the crowd, with a chain being used as a weapon by both women.[49][50][51] On 9 June atAgainst All Odds, Kelly was defeated by Slamovich in adog collar match.[52] On the 22 June episode ofImpact!, after Kelly defeated Taylor Wilde, she was attacked by Wilde's ally KiLynn King, who are both the Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, until Slamovich saved Kelly.[53] On 15 July atSlammiversary, Kelly and Slamovich who are now known as MK Ultra, defeated The Coven (King and Wilde) to win the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship.[54] They would hold the titles until January 13, 2024, atHard To Kill, when they lost the titles to Havok and Rosemary,[55] only to regained them a month later.[56] On March 8 atSacrifice, Kelly and Slamovich was defeated by Spitfire(Dani Luna andJody Threat), ending their reign at 14 days.[57]

Personal life

Lourenço has a brother.[58][59] She started watching professional wrestling when she was 7.[58] Prior to being trained, Lourenço had wrestled in backyard wrestling promotions.[58] She namesLow Ki,Gail Kim,Katsuyori Shibata,Asuka,Mickie James andCharlotte Flair as influences.[58] In 2017 she moved toDuisburg,North Rhine-Westphalia,Germany.[60] Lourenço streams on the Twitch platform on a weekly basis, where she streams wrestling watchalongs and horror based games.[61]

She is in a relationship with fellow professional wrestlerMyron Reed. On September 2, 2024, Lourenço announced that she was expecting her first child with Reed.[62] They welcomed their first child a daughter named Ruby on November 6, 2024.[63]
