Enrique "Kike" Márquez Climent (born 23 July 1989) is a Spanishfootballer who plays mainly as aleft winger forPrimera Federación clubZamora.
Born inSanlúcar de Barrameda,Province of Cádiz, Márquez played youth football with local clubAtlético Sanluqueño CF, making his senior debut in the2006–07 season in theTercera División. After returning to youth football withVillarreal CF, he joinedUD Almería B also in the fourth division.
Márquez left theAndalusians after two years (achieving promotion in his second), signing with anotherreserve team and also in his native region,Recreativo de Huelva B. On 26 September 2010, he made his firstSegunda División appearance with themain squad, starting in a 1–1 away draw againstSD Ponferradina.[1]
In June 2011, Márquez moved toSegunda División B sideBetis Deportivo Balompié.[2] He continued to compete in that tier the following campaigns, representing Sanluqueño,[3]Cádiz CF,[4]Racing de Ferrol,[5]Marbella FC[6] andExtremadura UD.[7] He achieved promotion to division two in2018 with the latter, contributing ten goals to this feat.[8]
Márquez left Extremadura in January 2022 as the club was experiencing severe financial problems, and subsequently representedPrimera Federación sidesAlbacete Balompié andCórdoba CF, promoting with both but leaving before playing in that level.[9] He remained in the league in the2024–25 campaign, on a one-year contract atZamora CF.[10]
