Khlula is aLoloish language. It is spoken by thePhula people ofChina.
Khlula is spoken in southeastWenshan County (in Liujing township), and north and centralMaguan county (in Dalishu, Miechang, Muchang, and Renhe townships),Wenshan Prefecture,Yunnan,China.[2]
Khlula is also known as Tula, Namupha, Alapha, Mo, Pao, Hei Phula, Black Phula, Shaoji Phula, Sifter basket Phula, Phulapha, Zokhuo Na, Black Zokhuo, or Khlula Yi. It is closely related toZokhuo and this two languages form theKhlula-Zokhuo subgroup of thePhula languages which are part of theSoutheastern Loloish languages which are a branch of theLoloish languages.
Khlula speakers are classified asYi by the Chinese government. Khlula is known as 科鲁拉语 (Kēlǔlāyǔ) inChinese.
