Khirbat Al-Taqa (Arabic:خربة الطاقة), was aPalestinianArab village in theDistrict of Baysan. It was depopulated by theIsrael Defense Forces during the1948 Arab-Israeli War on May 15, 1948, underOperation Gideon. It was located 14 km north ofBaysan nearby Wadi al-Bira which powered several mills in the village.
It was classified as ahamlet in the Palestine Index Gazetteer.[1]
Following the war the area was incorporated into theState of Israel and the land was left undeveloped.[1]
