Khareb (Arabic:الخرائب; also spelledKharayeb) is aSyrianvillage that is located in theTell Salhab Subdistrict ofAl-Suqaylabiyah District, inHama. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Khareb had a population of 241 in the 2004 census.[1]
In 2018, archaeologists revealed aByzantine mosaic painting of a church that dates back to the fifth century AD. The painting, which was decorated with geometric shapes and inscriptions in Latin, was unearthed in this village.[2][3]
