Khan Tuman (Arabic:خان طومان) is a village in northernSyria, administratively part of theMount Simeon District ofAleppo Governorate, located southwest ofAleppo. Nearby localities includeUrum al-Kubrah,Urum al-Sughrah,al-Shaykh Ali andal-Zurbah. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics, Khan Tuman had a population of 2,781 in the 2004 census.[1] The village is built on a hill located just east of theQueiq River. It is known for itshistoricalcaravanserai which dates back to 1189.[2][3]
