Khalil ibn Ishaq al-Jundi (diedc. 1365[2]), also known asSidi Khalil, was an Egyptian jurisprudent inMalikiIslamic law who taught inMedina andCairo. HisMukhtasar, known as the "Mukhtasar of Khalil", is considered an epitome ofshariah law according to the Malikimadhhab, and is regarded as the most authoritative legal manual by North andWest AfricanMuslims.[3][4]
