Khachrod is a town andmunicipality inUjjain district in theIndianstate ofMadhya Pradesh. It's also a tehsil headquarter.

Climate of the city features a typical version of thehumid subtropical climate (KöppenCwa). Summers usually starts by the middle of March which lasts up until late June.[2]
The Khacharod Municipality has population of 34,191 of which 17,351 are males while 16,840 are females as per Census 2011.[3]
