Kevin Hearne (born December 9, 1970) is an American-Canadianfantasy novelist[1][2] originally hailing fromArizona, now residing inOntario.[3]

Hearne is the author of twenty novels published byDel Rey. These include theNew York Times bestselling[4] series,The Iron Druid Chronicles,[5] the Ink & Sigil series, the Seven Kennings trilogy, the Tales of Pell (co-authored withDelilah S. Dawson), and the 2015Star Wars novel,Heir to the Jedi.[6]

Hearne is a graduate ofNorthern Arizona University.[1] He was a high school English teacher in Arizona, lived for five years in Colorado, and emigrated to Canada with his family in 2017. He became a Canadian citizen in 2022.[7]
