Ketanpur is a village inKhiron block ofRae Bareli district,Uttar Pradesh,India.[2] It is located 14 km fromLalganj, the tehsil headquarters.[3] As of 2011, it has a population of 345 people, in 66 households.[2] It has 1 primary school and no healthcare facilities and does not host a weeklyhaat or a permanent market.[2] It belongs to thenyaya panchayat ofDeogaon.[4]
The1961 census recorded Ketanpur as comprising 1 hamlet, with a total population of 174 people (94 male and 80 female), in 28 households and 25 physical houses.[5] The area of the village was given as 129acres.[5]
The1981 census recorded Ketanpur as having a population of 285 people, in 49 households, and having an area of 52.20hectares.[3] The main staple foods were given as wheat and rice.[3]
