Keny Alexander Arroyo Alvarado (born 14 February 2006), sometimes known asCheche Arroyo, is an Ecuadorianfootballer who plays as awinger forCruzeiro and theEcuador national team.
Arroyo is a youth product of Academia Alfaro Moreno before moving to the youth academy ofIndependiente del Valle in 2016.[1] He made his senior and professional debut with Independiente as a substitute in a 2–1 loss toNacional on 2 December 2023.[2] In February 2025 he signed with Turkish clubBeşiktaş.[3]
On 2 September 2025, Arroyo signed with Brazilian teamCruzeiro until the end of 2029.[4]
Arroyo was selected by theEcuador U17s to represent them at the2023 South American U-17 Championship.[5] Later that same year he was chosen for the2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.[6]
He was called up to the seniorEcuador national team for a set of2026 FIFA World Cup qualification matches in October 2024. He made his senior debut as a substitute in a 0–0 tie withUruguay on 16 October 2024.[7]
