Ken Gillard (born 30 April 1972) is an Irish former professionalfootballer who played as aleft back. He is a youth team coach atArsenal.
Born inDublin,[1] He started his career as a youth player atLuton Town but failed to make a first team appearance. He then joinedNorthampton Town, where he made 23 appearances inthe Football League. After leaving Northampton he played fornon-League sidesChesham United andHitchin Town.[3]
He joined Nuneaton as assistant manager to his former Northampton teammateKevin Wilkin in 2008. He had previously held similar roles atBarton Rovers and Hitchin Town.[4]
Gillard played for theRepublic of Ireland under-21 side during the early 1990s.
