Kekropis (Greek:Κεκροπίς) was one of thephylai (tribes) ofclassical Athens, created during the reforms ofCleisthenes.[1] It was named after the legendary heroKekrops. Its demes wereAixone,Halai Aixonides,Daidalidai,Epieikidai,Melite,Xypete,Pithos,Sypalettos,Trinemeia andPhlya.[2][3]
