Kedar Sigdel is aNepali politician and former member of theHouse of Representatives.[2][3]
He was elected under thefirst-past-the-post (FPTP) system fromTanahun–2 in the2017 general election.[4] He defeated his nearest rivalShankar Bhandari ofNepali Congress by acquiring 32,924 votes to Bhandari's 29,645.[4] This was the first time he was elected to parliament.[5]
Sigdel did not contest the seat in the2022 general election, instead opting to run for theprovincial assembly from Tanahun 2 (B), but he was defeated by Congress' Jeet Prakash Ale Magar by a margin of 640 votes.[6]
