It was launched on 16 July 2011, at 23:16:10UTC byProton-M /Briz-Mlaunch vehicle.[1] This satellite was constructed byKhrunichev State Research and Production Space Center for thesatellite bus andThales Alenia Space (Italy) for the payload. Thales Alenia Space is also the provider ofKazSat-1 andKazSat-3 payloads.
