Kathleen Tessaro (born June 1, 1965) is an American novelist. She was born inPittsburgh, Pennsylvania and attended theUniversity of Pittsburgh andCarnegie Mellon University, where she was a member of their drama program.[1]Katie Holmes adapted Tessaro's sixth book,Rare Objects, into a screenplay and went on to produce, direct, and act in the film, which opened in theaters and online streaming on April 14, 2023.
