Kath Soucie (/ˈsu.s/,SOO-see)[1] is an Americanvoice actress, known for voicing Phil, Lil and their mother Betty DeVille inRugrats,Lola Bunny in theLooney Tunes franchise,Fifi La Fume andLi'l Sneezer inTiny Toon Adventures, Maddie Fenton inDanny Phantom, Linka inCaptain Planet and the Planeteers, Minx inJem, Bea inMighty Max, Dexter's Mom inDexter's Laboratory, Agent K inThe Replacements, Princess Sally Acorn inSonic the Hedgehog, Cadpig and Rolly in101 Dalmatians: The Series, Kat Harvey inThe Spooktacular New Adventures of Casper, Morgana Macawber inDarkwing Duck, andKanga in theWinnie the Pooh franchise.[2] She also voicedBubbles inWhat a Cartoon! beforeTara Strong permanently took the role,Tuffy Mouse inThe Tom and Jerry Show, Perdita in the101 Dalmatians franchise, since101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure (2003), Ray Ray Lee inThe Life and Times of Juniper Lee, Kappei inNinjala, and Miriam Pataki inHey Arnold!.

Life and career

Soucie was born inCleveland, Ohio.[3]

She first studied acting under drama teacherManu Tupou. After attending theAmerican Academy of Dramatic Arts, she began a successful career on theNew York stage.[4]

In the late 1970s, Soucie appeared in several television films, includingThe Incredible Journey of Doctor Meg Laurel. However, she soon experienced disappointment with the physical restrictions of on-camera acting.[4] In 1986 came her first voice-over job, for three different girls onRambo: The Force of Freedom.[2] Having started her voice acting career, the following year, Soucie playedJanine Melnitz onThe Real Ghostbusters, taking over the role fromLaura Summer.

Soucie also voiced Jek Lawquane inStar Wars: The Bad Batch,[5] and a younger Nick Wilde inZootopia, with the adult version voiced byJason Bateman.
