Kate Mailer (born August 18, 1962) is anAmerican stage and filmactress and daughter of Americanauthor-playwrightNorman Mailer and third wife, journalistLady Jeanne Campbell, daughter of the11th Duke of Argyll and his first wife, The HonourableJanet Gladys Aitken.[1] Her work includes roles on stage in theAnton Chekhov playThe Cherry Orchard, and on film inJean-Luc Godard'sadaptation of theWilliam Shakespeare playKing Lear withBurgess Meredith (1987) and in W. T. Morgan'sA Matter of Degrees withArye Gross (1990). She has since become a writer.
