Kasper Waarts Thenza Høgh (born 6 December 2000) is a Danish professionalfootballer who plays as aforward for NorwegianEliteserien sideBodø/Glimt.
In December 2017, Høgh signed a new contract withRanders FC, extending his contract until 2020.[2] Høgh's first experience on the first team squad was on 4 April 2018, when he was selected to the squad againstSilkeborg IF in theDanish Cup.[3]
Høgh got his debut for Randers FC on 15 April 2018. He started on the bench, but replacedMikael Boman in the 80th minute in a 3–0 defeat againstOB in theDanish Superliga.[4] He played one more game for the first team squad in that season. Høgh had scored impressive 23 goals in 21 games for the U19 squad in that season.
He continued in the 2018–19 season to impress, scoring 14 goals in 9 games for the U19 squad in the first half year. Høgh became more and more involved in the first team squad, playing two games coming in as a substitute and sitting on the bench for four games in the first half year of the season.
On 19 March 2019, Høgh signed a long-term contract with Randers. He was set to be permanently promoted to the first team from the 2019–20 season.[5] After an injury, Randers decided on 29 July 2020 to loan Høgh out to Icelandic clubValur for the rest of 2020, to get some regular match fitness.[6]
On 18 June 2021, Høgh signed a three-year deal withDanish 1st Division clubHobro IK.[7] Høgh made a total of 12 appearances for the club, scoring four goals.
On 14 January 2022, it was reported that Høgh had gone to Malta for a training camp withAaB.[8] Later in the same month, on 21 January, Høgh's transfer to theDanish Superliga club AaB was confirmed, signing a deal until June 2026.[9] Høgh got his debut for AaB on 20 February 2022 againstFC Midtjylland, scoring the second goal in a 2–0 win.[10]
On 18 January 2023, Høgh joined newly promoted NorwegianEliteserien sideStabæk on a year-long loan deal with a purchase option.[11] On 2 July 2023, after scoring 8 goals in 14 games, Stabæk confirmed that the club had exercised the purchase option on Høgh with immediate effect, with Høgh signing a deal until the end of 2025.[12]
On 2 October 2023, it was confirmed that Høgh had signed a pre-contract withBodø/Glimt, which would take effect from January 2024.[13] In the2024 season, he finished as the club's top scorer with 12 goals as they retained theirEliteserien title.[14] He also impressed in the2024–25 UEFA Europa League as his club reached the semi-finals, scoring seven goals to share the competition's top scorer award withBruno Fernandes andAyoub El Kaabi.[15]
In the2025 season, he retained his club's top-scorer status with 17 goals, as Bodø/Glimt finished second in the league, one point behindViking.[16] On 20 January 2026, he scored his firstUEFA Champions League goals by netting a brace in a 3–1 victory overManchester City.[17] A week later, on 28 January, he netted a goal in a 2–1 away win overAtlético Madrid, securing his club's spot in theChampions League knockout play-offs.[18]
